The Fairmont State University Art Education Club was designed to further the art education field for the art and art education majors at Fairmont State University.  Jennifer Yerdon LeJeune is over the Art Education Club. Jennifer Yerdon LeJeune is the adviser of the art education program at Fairmont State University. The club was started in 2011. With some hard work the club became an official university club in the fall semester of 2012. One of the first fundraisers the club did was the Haiti house project. The club made pins and magnets in the shape of houses to raise money to buy art supplies for the schools in Haiti. The club raised around $250. The next big project was making centerpieces, auction paddles, gift bags, direction signs, helping out at the reregistration desk for the 2012 WVAEA conference at Fairmont State University. We plan to do more in the future. Our meetings are usually held in Wallman Hall in room 411. If you would like to find out more check us out on our facebook page!
